Emeryville, California, May 2013—The athletes and foodies behind CLIF Builder’s® understand that the body requires varying amounts of protein based on the intensity of a workout or endurance challenge. For that reason, CLIF is expanding the Builder’s line with Builder’s MAX™ – a good-tasting, power-packed protein bar crafted for the most intense workouts. With the addition of MAX, CLIF Builder’s now offers 10, 20 and 30 gram high-quality protein bars, all without artificial sweeteners, trans fats or ingredients sourced from GMOs.
Builder’s MAX is made with the CLIF folks call TriBuild™ protein, a proprietary blend of whey, soy and casein, specifically crafted to support muscle growth and recovery. MAX contains both fast-absorbing proteins that go to work quickly to promote muscle growth as well as proteins that take longer to absorb, which can help extend the muscle growth window. On shelves at retailers nationwide, Builder’s MAX is available in three flavors: Caramel Peanut, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Mint Chocolate Chip. |

Houston, Texas, February 2013 — While it’s only been open a year, enrollment at The Sarah Kelly Music School, just north of Houston, is already near full capacity.
Owned by two-time Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Sarah Kelly, the school strives to bring in top names to meet with students at the school. Last month Chris Sampson, Dean of USC’s Thornton School of Music, came to visit. This Pac 12 school, which is known for its music, will be giving out partial scholarships. To help meet the demand, Sarah’s school recently started offering online classes; now she can literally reach out and help more young people interested in music as a profession.
What makes this school unique is that apart from learning to play instruments, students actually get to learn to write their own music. Regardless of experience, students are usually playing songs after just a few weeks of lessons and writing their own soon after. They also have a chance at being accepted into the school’s Artist Development Classes that focus on production, vocal training and song writing, giving them access to a studio where their songs are recorded by a professional producer.
