Pasadena, California, July 2009 — Back to Nature Foods has been around for almost 50 years, but they’ve got some new products to show off. However, first let’s provide a little back story.
It was 1960. A small health food store created a delicious, naturally low-fat granola-its first product. Becoming very popular in health food stores across the state, people begin asking for other products made with simple, wholesome ingredients. The response was to develop delicious cereals, crackers and cookies that would make eating a pleasure—every day. This is Back to Nature Foods – and while the business has grown, the company’s mission has never changed: Give people truly flavorful, wholesome foods made with simple ingredients. They say they are passionate about creating foods with real nutrition and the delicious tastes and flavors of nature without artificial flavors or preservatives, hydrogenated oils, or high fructose corn syrup. It’s their commitment and philosophy, and they’re stickin’ to it. The new products launched this year include: • Cranberry Pecan Granola Cookies – chewy and full of tart cranberries and crunchy pecans. These wholesome cookies are sweetened with cane juice, fruit juice and a touch of honey. • Honey Nut Granola Cookies – chewy granola cookies with the crunch of peanuts and a touch of honey. Sweetened with cane juice, fruit juice and honey. • Chocolate Delight – clusters of whole grain rolled oats and dark chocolate chunks • Sunflower & Pumpkin Seed – bunches of whole grain rolled oats, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds • Poppy Thyme – crackers sprinkled with poppy seeds and chopped thyme • Sesame Tarragon – crackers sprinkled with golden sesame seeds and flecked with tarragon • Sunflower Basil – crackers with crunchy sunflower kernels and fragrant basil For more about Back to Nature visit www.backtonaturefoods.com.
