Montvale, New Jersey, March 2009 – Good Earth® has announced an Earth Day-inspired big give, inviting socially-conscious consumers to enter for a chance to win a total of $25,000 in cash and donations. The first-ever Good Earth Giveaway, www.GoodEarthGiveaway.com, offers something for consumers and something for their community, giving one grand prize winner the chance to take home $10,000 in cash and donate $10,000 to a charity of their choice. An additional $5,000 will also be given to second and third place winners.

“In these tough economic times, finding funds to donate to your favorite charity can be challenging,” said Deborah Glasser, marketing director at Good Earth. “The Good Earth Giveaway makes it easier for individuals to give to their preferred cause, with the added incentive of also winning big cash prizes.

“The program goal is to extend the warmth and goodness brewed into every cup of our premium tea and coffee to our customers by raising awareness of the importance of charitable giving and eco-responsibility.”

On Earth Day and every day, Good Earth has long been an advocate for environmental responsibility. Boasting one of the greenest packages in the coffee aisle, Good Earth Coffee is USDA Certified Organic, while Good Earth Tea boxes are made from 100 percent recycled cartons.

Continuing now through May 19, 2009, the Good Earth Giveaway will also award a year’s supply of premium Good Earth Coffee and Good Earth Teas to five lucky winners. To register for a chance to win, participants simply enter their information along with their favorite local, national, or environmental charity. Visit www.GoodEarthGiveaway.com to enter for a chance to win.

The Good Earth Giveaway will be supported by a series of online and offline marketing programs. Campaign advertisements will appear in Eating Well, Cooking Light, Body & Soul, and Food & Wine magazines as well as online advertising. Print ads, banner ads and a free-standing newspaper insert will reach a combined audience of over 50 million readers. On the ground, Good Earth will host a series of Earth Day sampling events across the country.
