Chico, California, October 2010 — Star Nutrition, Inc., a Chico, California-based diversified health and wellness industry firm, has announced its newest product, a modified pair of socks known as “Incredisocks”™.  http://www.ktvn.com/Global/story.asp?S=13201532

The “Incredisocks” are a pair of socks with bamboo charcoal woven into the fabric. Bamboo charcoal is created by burning aged bamboo at very high temperatures, and is widely regarded for its absorption and circulation properties.

The product was recently featured by KTVN-TV, the Reno, Nevada CBS affiliate.

Presented on air and over the internet late last month by reporter Wendy Damonte, the segment included the interview of several individuals who reported substantial health benefits with the wearing of the Incredisocks. One patient, Hank Meyers, is quoted as saying, "I've gotten to the point I don't need them in bed at night but I wear them all the time during the day," after having complained of cold feet for five years.

In the report, a doctor is interviewed demonstrating the reduction of inflammation of one foot, which occurred after 20 minutes of wearing the Incredisocks. The doctor went on to speculate that the ameliorative effects of the sock may in part be due to the increased blood flow and circulation which the sock likely provides.

The president of Star Nutrition, Jackson Corley, is also featured, explaining that he developed the product after being injured himself.

Another interviewee, Anne, from Martinez, California reports “Incredisocks are the most comfortable socks I have ever worn! My feet are no longer fatigued!”
